As a CaféX Spaces user, you can create your own Space. You are the administrator of that Space, and when you enter it, you have some additional user interface elements to enable you to manage it.
To create a new CaféX Space:
- Click the Add Space button
On the Prepare tab, enter a name in the Space Name field.
This should reflect the purpose of the Space in some way: a Space created for an ad hoc meeting and intended to be immediately discarded might use the date and time; one created for a specific purpose and intended to last as long as the purpose did might be named for that purpose.
Note: There is a maximum of 25 characters.
Enter a message in the Welcome Message field.
The Welcome Message is the first thing shown to a new member of the Space.
Click Next to go to the Type tab.
Select one of the following Space types:
- Standard Space
- Presentation Space
- Team Space
- Clients Space
Important: Once you have created a Space, you cannot change its type.

Click Next to go to the Design tab.
- On the Design tab, you choose things like color scheme, logo, and background image.
- Click on Create Space to create the Space.
Note: If you wish, you can click Create Space at any time after filling in the Space Name field. Doing so uses default values (a Standard Space type with CaféX design) for any settings not yet chosen. You can change the design, but not the Space type, after creation.
