A URL presents a link to a web site or page. The link itself is passive and non-interactive, though the web site it points to need not be.
- Type URL of the web site into the URL field
If you want the contents of the web site to be displayed to members inside the Space working area, set the iframe field to true
If false, the contents of the web site are displayed to members in a new page.
If you choose to display the page in an iframe, you see a preview dialog:
If you cannot see the contents of the website, it is not suitable to be displayed in an iframe, and you should click No or Cancel, which resets the iframe field to false.
Note: When you include the target page in the Spaces page, to display it properly, Spaces must have been granted permission to do so by the target page (using an Access-Control-Allow-Origin header). Since an arbitrary HTML site is unlikely to do this, setting iframe to true is of most use when you also control the cross-origin resource sharing of the web site that you want to include.
